Pauline - aged 51
Nebuliser: Ventolin and Atrovent
Inhalers: Seretide, Ventolin and Atrovent
Tablets: Prednisolone

By the end of the course Pauline said, "I have packed the nebuliser away in the cupboard," and was using only Flixotide with a puff of Ventolin when required.

Three months later she was able to consider reducing the Flixotide too.

Mark - age 67
Mark suffered from asthma, sleep apnoea. His cough was so severe that he was unable to hold a telephone conversation without coughing and often had to abandon the call.
By end of course he reported that he was no longer experiencing sleep apnoea and that his coughing had

almost disappeared. He was feeling more alert, had more energy and was, "Looking forward to great things."
A month later, he telephoned to tell me he was even better and was no longer embarrassed by his problem.

Joe - aged 70
Inhalers: Seretide, Ventolin and Fluticasone nasal spray.

By the end of the course Joe was taking only Flixotide and said, "I can now mow both front and back lawns without any breaks whatsoever. It's unbelievable the difference it has made. My life is so much happier and easier. Nothing seems to be any effort at all."

Ann - aged 62
Inhalers: Seretide, Combivent, Ventolin, plus Syntaris nasal spray.

Ann's asthma was very severe but the main reason she gave for wanting to do the course was that she was troubled by a very bad cough that she had been told was due to C.O.A.D (chronic obstructive airways disease).

By the end of the course Ann was taking only Flixotide plus the occasional puff of Ventolin. She said she was feeling much better and that it's a, "Pity it can't be had on the NHS."
